Christ Roi, Lens Imagine yourself perched at an altitude of 1,271.9 m, facing the immensity of the Rhône plain. Not just anywhere, but at the foot of the majestic Christ the King statue in Lens. Inaugurated in 1935, this monument drew over 4,000 people from all over the Valais for its inauguration! Beneath its base, a chapel houses the coats of arms of the Valais districts and the patron saints of the Valais.
