Meet Francine
La Forge de Diogne is more than a place to sleep. The house began as a forge, and Francine has carefully restored it while preserving its original character — stone, timber and the history of the building are still part of the experience today, alongside interiors designed for warmth, light and contemporary comfort.
Francine was born in Valais and grew up surrounded by vineyards, family life and the traditions of the region. Years spent studying and living in Paris gave her a different perspective, but her connection to the mountains and her roots in Valais remained. Today, she welcomes guests to La Forge de Diogne with that same sense of authenticity and sharing — a place to slow down, discover the region, and experience Valais from a more personal perspective.
