Located in the heart of the peaceful hamlet of Diogne, 15 minutes from Crans-Montana and the Rhône plain, our Bed and Breakfast and its renowned local breakfast will delight lovers of nature, gastronomy and good wines. Looking for an authentic experience in Valais? Discover our originality: you will sleep in the old family forge, now transformed and renovated into a cozy guesthouse and holiday apartments with spacious, intimate terraces and a breathtaking panorama. Our decoration, combining authenticity, eco-responsible materials and modern comfort will surprise you as soon as you arrive. Here, we favor soft tourism that promotes meeting and sharing. From a network of four hikes with unique landscapes and accessible to all levels, you will marvel at their evolution throughout the year. In winter, the ski area of Crans-Montana is 15 minutes away and for fans of Ski Safari, the resorts of Anzère, Val d'Anniviers: Grimentz, Zinal, St-Luc and Chandolin, as well as "Le Domaine des 4 Vallées" are about half an hour away. An idyllic setting in the heart of Valais
Situated half-way between the town of Sierre and the ski resort of Crans-Montana, Diogne is an ideal base to discover the region. Golf courses, hiking trails, bike trails, vineyards, ski slopes and restaurants are all found nearby. However, Diogne is above all a place to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Here, you will experience typical Swiss village life, where time seems to have stood still. Fasten up your walking boots and enjoy the great outdoors directly from our Bed and Breakfast.
OUR GUEST HOUSE
Stay in an old forge equipped with all the mod cons! The house was completely renovated in 2017 and 2022. Lately the 4 room duplex apartment "L' Atelier" (upper floor) has been renovated. Now on the top floor you will enjoy 2 new and large rooms "Palladium" and "Nickel" with an ensuite bathroom each. The ground floor, partially renovated, provides common areas with a modern kitchen, a pleasant living room/eating place giving access to the balcony and its amazing view of the Alps. The double room "Cuivre" with access to the balcony is rented together with one of the upper floor room sharing a bathroom. Today you can choose between our independent 2 room apartment for 4 pax, the entire 4 room apartment for 6 pax or one or two rooms only. In the whole house are 1 to 12 people welcomed ! An authentic and local breakfast will be served in your accommodation.

My name is Francine. As a child growing up in Valais, I always dreamed of welcoming visitors to my idyllic village in a charming B&B. The “Forge” belonged to my Uncle Hermann and the first guests came in 2017.

The Bisse de Lens, the vineyards trails or the path of "Crans-Montana land of faith" that leads you through the history of Christianity in Valais. For the most experienced, live the way our ancestors used to, dividing their time between the mountain pastures in the summer and the rural villages in the winter. We will be delighted to provide you personalized recommandations.
ENERGIZE YOURSELVES DURING A WEEKEND IN DIOGNE
Enjoy the tranquil village life in Diogne. Nature and calm are the key words. After enjoying breakfast, why not put on your hiking boots and choose one of the three trails on your doorstep? For Golfers, the nearest green is only 2 km away. At noon, discover the local food in local restaurants…. accompanied by local wine: a Muscatel from Ismaël, a Viognier from Jacques, a Pinot noir from Jean-Alexis or a Cornalin from Joël… all local wine growers. And what about a massage at home?
